Need musicians for your special event?  Les Productions Isabelle Janes inc. - Musiciens à la carte! has what you are looking for!   Weddings, cocktails, private receptions, funerals, anniversaries...we have the experience you need for all these very special occasions.   We offer a large variety of professional experienced musicians.  A jazz trio, a string quartet, mariachis, a Big Band, we offer them all.  Let us help you create the unique ambiance you desire for you event in Montreal, Laval, the Laurentians and all over Quebec (Mont-Tremblant, Magog, Sherbrooke, West-Island, South Shore, etc).

 

Isabelle Janes studied classical piano for 15 years, attending Pierre Laporte and Vincent d’Indy schools. She later obtained a DEC in “Jazz arrangements and composition” from Vanier College and a bachelor’s degree in “Jazz interpretation” from University of Montreal. She played at the Montreal International Jazz Festival, the Hull and Montreal Casinos (where she performed as the first part of Paul Anka), Cabaret du Capitol, Maison des arts de Laval, Monument National. She won grants and prizes such as a first place at the “Festival des harmonies de Sherbrooke” (combo jazz) and at the “Jazz Fest Canada”  in 2001.  She recorded her first album in 2003, “Mezzo Jazz”,  which you can often hear on the radio “Couleur Jazz 91.9 FM”.  In 2006, Miss Janes was invited to play for the Just for Laughs Festival, performing at the VIP evenings of the televised galas. Also known for her business skills, Miss Janes is the president of “Les Productions Isabelle Janes inc – Musiciens à la carte” and produces concerts all over Quebec. She joined the Laval Chamber of Commerce and the “Jeune Chambre de Commerce de Montréal”, where she was elected “Member of the week” and “Star member” in 2004 and was invited as a guest speaker during the year 2005.  Recently discovered by renowned journalist Mr. Brian Britt, she gave him a televised interview which aired on the CTV News’s “Life with Brian”.
